Orillia continues to set a torrid pace when it comes to the value of construction activity so far in 2011.
Last month, the city issued a total of 25 building permits, with a total construction value of more than 4.5 million dollars.
So far this year the total value of construction in the city is more than 25.5 million dollars.
This compares to last year at this time when the total value of construction for the first three months of the year totaled 18.2 million dollars.
Orillia has collected more than $365,000 in building permit fees so far this year and almost $831,000 in development charges.
