Job creation in Simcoe North one of the topics all five Candidates for the federal election were asked about at Tuesday nights all candidates meeting in Orillia.
NDP Candidate Richard Banigan says direct investment in small business development in small rural communities is the only way of generating good paying new jobs and grow the economy.
Liberal Steve Clark says investment in green technology is one way of bringing good paying jobs back into the riding.
He says by providing new jobs, you then can deal with some of the other social issues facing the riding.
Christian heritage Party candidate Adrian Kooger says investing in municipal infrastructure will help create jobs.
The Green Candidate, Valerie Powell says investing in renewable energy projects and creating the product in Simcoe North will help with job creation.
Conservative Bruce Stanton says the private sector is where the new jobs will created and the tories wont raise taxes on businesses which would kill job creation
