Talk about number crunching.
Orillia and Midland High School Students Wednesday will be taking part in Lakehead Universitys 9th Annual TD Canada Trust High School Mathematics Competition, taking place at Lakehead Orillias University Avenue campus.
The Orillia and Midland high schools compete in the Northwestern high school division.
Junior and senior teams from three high schools in Orillia, including Orillia District (ODCVI), Park Street, and Twin Lakes, along with St. Theresas in Midland, will participate this year.
Last year, students from Park Street, Twin Lakes, and Patrick Fogarty secondary schools competed with impressive results.
All schools had contestants that placed in the top five, with Twin Lakes winning both the junior and senior team competitions.
