Now the election is in the history books, Simcoe North Mp Bruce Stanton is focusing on what he calls some of the pressing needs for this riding.
he says job creation is one issue that has to be addressed immediately.
Stanton also says during the course of the election campaign time and time again, the need for affordable housing was brought to his attention.
Stanton also says health care is another important issue and he wants to make sure that the Federal government can continue to make the right kind of investments to ensure that the health care system remains in good shape.
Stanton says the big priority for the government is getting a budget passed and he says it will be very similar to the one presented before the election was called.
Stanton says he has no aspirations for a cabinet position once parliament resumes later this month. He says his job is representing the people of Simcoe North.
