The Fire Marshall’s office and the Ministry of Labour are investigating following an industrial accident in Oro Medonte.
Barrie OPP were called to Thompson Metals on Jamieson Drive just before 11:30 this morning.
A 35 year old man had been wroking on a diesel fuel tank when an explosion occured.
The man received severe burns to his upper body and was taken to Soldiers Memorial here in Orillia before being airlifted to the Sunnybrook Hospital’s burn unit in Toronto.
