A two-vehicle collision just north of Barrie sent three men to hospital this morning.
OPP say a pickup truck and a Buick crashed just after 5am on Bayfield Street North, just south of Carson Road West.
The Buick’s two male occupants, both from Penetanguishene, were transported to a Toronto hospital with serious non-life-threatening injuries, while the truck driver, from Wyevale, suffered minor injuries.
A section of Bayfield Street was closed for nearly six hours while police investigated.
Officials have not said just how the crash happened, however, an initial investigation has shown that the truck crossed into the opposite lane and struck the Buick.
Charges have yet to be laid.
