The Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board has passed its quarter-billion-dollar budget.
At a meeting Tuesday trustees approved the budget in the amount of $266,873,300.
Board chair Clayton Ferguson said in a news release they were able to achieve this budget without having to make significant cuts to other programs and services that we offer our students.
With this budget, he is confident they will be able to achieve our key goals for student learning in the upcoming school year.”
Enrolment is expected to decline again in the 2011-12 school year. The board is projecting a decrease from 2010-11 of 597 students,
