Orillia Mayor Angelo Orsi and Council are making a plea with city residents to make sure they have completed and sent off the National Household Survey to Statistics Canada.
Council wants to make sure everyone knows how important that data is to future planning in the city.
The data collected in the NHS supports the City with planning and program delivery, including family services, child care, housing, transportation, infrastructure programs, schools, community centres and others. This data is vital for the City
The Mayor and Council are encouraging every household in Orillia selected for the Survey to complete and return the questionnaire.
Council also wants to remind people Personal information provided on the NHS is protected by law.
