A 48-year old man appeard in a Barrie court yesterday, facing charges of attempted murder and possession of a dangerous weapon.
The charges stem from a stabbing incident in Wasaga Beach earlier this week.
Police were called to a cottage court on 22nd street in Wasaga Beach Sunday afternoon, where a young man had been stabbed.
Police say Joseph Henrikson had been asked to leave a party in one of the units, but had returned and when asked to leave a
second time he pulled a knife and stabbed one of the men who’d asked him to go.
An 18 year old man from Hamilton is being treated for what police say are life-threatening injuries at the hospital in Collingwood.
