It seems that pet owners just are not getting the message.
Police in Barrie were called three times Sunday by people who saw pets left inside vehicles in the steamy heat.
In each case, police say the owners were warned that leaving an animal inside a hot car in yesterday’s searing heat could put the pet’s life at risk and could lead to a charge of endangering an animal.
