There is another warning from Police about a scam.

In this latest — Police say someone calls you on the telephone and wants you to turn on the computer because it has a virus.
When asked to identify the company — the caller sometimes gives out two different names — ‘Microsoft Research’ and ‘Computer Maintenance.’
Microsoft is well known for their work with computers — but Police say this particular call was not made by Microsoft.
Police say you should always be careful with unsolicited phone calls.
A good rule of thumb is if you don’t make the call — how can you be sure the caller is who they say they are?
