Local Orillia Media are being cut off from contacting the Mayor by telephone.
Mayor Angelo Orsi, in a memo states that all media questions from now on are required to be in writing and emailed to Orsi.
The Mayor says this will help keep track of what he was asked and what he did say in response.
Orsi says this will help him keep track of certain issues and stories and respond to further media requests.
