There is a new Municipal Law Enforcement Officer for Oro Medonte.
Curtis Shelswell will be joining the Township’s Corporate Services Department on Monday, August 22..
Since the retirement of former CMLEO Gary Skelding in April 2011, the Township has undergone an extensive recruitment process in search of the next CMLEO to lead the Municipal Law Enforcement Division.
Director of Corporate Services Doug Irwin says as a life-long Oro-Medonte resident Shelswell brings many strengths to the Township, including 8 years of Municipal Law Enforcement experience with the City of Orillia as a Municipal Law Enforcement Officer.
In addition, he has previously serving as a Volunteer Firefighter.
