Two weeks until schools resumes and for students of Monsignor Lee Catholic Elementary school in Orillia the new school year brings a change in location.
The students will be housed in a temporary location this year at the old Hillcrest school while Monsignor Lee is demolished and a new facility is constructed.
Diane Legg says the demolition of the school will take place this fall with construction begriming right away and hopefully the new Monsignor lee Guardian Angels school will be completed a year from September.
She does not feel the relocation of the students will be that stressful, but in fact will be a bit of an adventure for them.
Legg says once the new school is built a lot of memories from Monsignor Lee and Guardian Angels will be brought to the new building.
She also says once school begins September 6th, school bus pick up will remain the same, but the drop off will be different, which will be at Hillcrest School.
