Orillia residents now have a chance to bid farewell to NDP Leader Jack Layton.
The City has set up a condolence book in memory of Layton in the foyer of City Hall at 50 Andrew St. South.
The Public can access Cityh Hall today thru Friday from 8 am until 4.30 pm.
The condolence book will remain in the
foyer until August 31st.
Mayor and Council encourage residents of the City of Orillia to come to
the City to sign the book and pay their respects.
Also, in honour of Layton, the City flag, located on the side of the
municipal building, will be lowered to half mast and will remain lowered
until his funeral.
