A event honouring farmers will be back for a third time this weekend.
Simcoe North MPP Garfield Dunlop will be hosting his bi-annual Farm Family Appreciation Day.
Dunlop calls farmers and their families the backbone of our society – adding they often do not get the respect the deserve.
Dunlop continues to reference the slogan “Farmers Feed Cities” – a concept he says is sometimes lost on people, especially in large urban centres.
The event features a BBQ, entertainment, and various displays.
It all takes place at the Canadiana Museum in Coldwater from 11 AM to 4 PM on Sunday August 28th.
