Car looking a little grubby? Shoes need a buff? Georgian College students are more than willing to help out!
Hundreds of students will disperse to locations throughout Barrie, Orillia and Owen Sound today.
Theyll be raising money for the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation through Georgians annual Shinerama activities.
Shinerama is the largest national post-secondary fundraiser in Canada.
More than 35,000 student volunteers in about 52 Canadian communities come together to wash cars, shine shoes, and seek fun ways to raise money in support of cystic fibrosis.
Shinerama students have raised almost $16 million to support the fight against cystic fibrosis since the campaign began in 1964.
All Georgian students are welcome to take part and will be excused from classes on the day of the event.
