Its a chance to get your pet vaccinated against rabies for a low cost.
The Simcoe Muskoka District Health unit offering low cost rabies clinics throughout the month of October.
Tony Makrostergios is the coordinator of the health units rabies program and says this should encourage people who might other wise get their pets vaccinated to go out and do so.
Makrostergios says this clinics will cost about 18 to 20 dollars to get a shot.
He says its the law in ontario that all dogs and cats be vaccinated against rabies.
He also says if buying a pet, make sure it has received its shots.
