A huge jump in Ontario Unemployment rate is concerning Opposition Members of the Legislature.
Last month Ontario lost 75 thousand full time manufacturing jobs, and only created some 36 thousand part time jobs pushing the job less rate to 8.1 per cent surpassing the national rate of 7.3 per cent.
Simcoe North MPP Garfield Dunlop says this is totally unacceptable.
He says with government spending completely out of control, the government has no plan to fix the economy.
Dunlop says the Government now will have to turn to the opposition parties for some suggestions and ideas on job creation.
He says while the loss of 75 thousand jobs is very upsetting, the creation of 36 thousand part time jobs is even more worrisome, because part time employment will not help boost the economy.
Dunlop says these latest jobless numbers are making Ontario look like the Greece of Canada.
