Santa is going to have a lot of toys to deliver in Simcoe County thanks to the efforts of Simcoe County Paramedics.
They are continuing their annual toy drive this weekend.
Since the 2011 toy drive kickoff on Nov. 18, paramedics have collected more than 1,000 toys and $2,000 in cash and gift cards benefitting local children and families during this holiday season.
This weekend is anticipated to be the busiest to date.
To start the weekend off, Simcoe County paramedics will be paying a special visit to Birchview Dunes Public School in Wasaga Beach today, where students have collected a load of toys to be donated to the toy drive.
Then tomorrow and Sunday, paramedics will be attending Santa Claus parades in Midland, Stayner, Creemore, Coldwater, Tottenham and Elmvale.
And of course, drop boxes are available outside all paramedic stations across the County and at the County of Simcoe Administration Centre, in Midhurst,
