Barrie police have charged a 14 year old with first degree murder, in the death of another young person Tuesday.
The name of the accused can't be released because of his age. In addition to the murder charge, he faces a charge of aggravated assault with a weapon, and two counts of failing to comply with a previous court sentence. A post mortem will take place Thursday in Toronto. Police have not released the name of the victim. Officers were called to a house in the southwest part of the city Tuesday morning where the found a youth with serious injuries. He was pronounced dead soon after in hospital.
