Barrie Police are looking for a female driver who hit a pedestrian on Monday, March 4th.
At 7:40 a.m. that day a pedestrian was walking southbound on Yonge Street approaching Big Bay Point Road in Barrie. While crossing within the merge lane, the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle that was turning right onto Big Bay Point Road.
The vehicle description was of an orange/red vehicle being operated by a female in her 40’s with curly brown hair and tanned skin.
Police say the driver did make an effort to ask if the pedestrian was injured before leaving.
