This started with a motorist being pulled over on Highway 400 near Innisfil Beach Road by South Simcoe Police after the driver was clocked doing 159 km/h.
When the driver opened the glove box to grab his ownership and insurance, what looked to be a handgun fell out.
It turned out to be a replica, which was seized.
A 21 year old man from Holland Landing charged with speeding stunt driving and failing to surrender ownership.
He was also cautioned about the safety concerns have a realistic handgun in the glove box.
