A man charged with stealing three animals from the Elmvale Jungle Zoo last summer, has been murdered in York region.
Police say the body of 22 year old Alex Perlmutter of Sunderland was found in a church parking lot in the Stouffville area on Wednesday. He'd been shot at another location and police are looking for three suspects. Last summer, Perlmutter and another man were charged after three animals were stolen from the zoo.
