You may hear some explosions if you are in the Meaford area this weekend. (March 30-31)
Canadian Armed Forces Artillery Units will be firing at the 4th Canadian Division Training Centre in Meaford on Saturday and Sunday.
The Department of National Defence advises noise from the artillery range may be heard at all hours during the weekend.
As a result of this training, there will be an increase in the number of military vehicles travelling on public roads during the weekend.
The Department of National Defence says the event is purely for training purposes and at no time will safety or security of the public be in jeopardy.
