Spirit 7 Greyhounds 5
Cole Perfetti scored the game winner for the Spirit on a power play with just over 6 minutes to play as Saginaw has grabbed a commanding 3-0 series lead.
The Greyhounds led 3-0 after 10 minutes of play but the Spirit rallied to tie the game and won it when Sault Ste Marie was fingered for too many men on the ice.
Cole Coskey, DJ Busdeker, Bode Wilde, Brady Gilmour, Sault native Camaryn Baber and Owen Tippett also scored in the win.
Saginaw scored 7 times on 26 shots and are one win away from their first ever appearance in the Western Conference Championship Series.
Joe Carroll returned from injury to score twice for the Greyhounds while Morgan Frost, Barrett Hayton and Jaromir Pytlik staked the Soo to their early lead
Game 4 is Thursday night in Sault Ste. Marie

Overage Kyle Maksimovich scored twice for the 67's while Jack Quinn, Tye Felhaber, Lucas Chiodo, Lucas Peric, and Sasha Chmelevski also scored for Ottawa who put up 8 goals for the 2nd time in the series
Hudson Wilson had 3 assists as the 67's took a commanding 3-0 series lead.
Shane Bulitka, Owen Gilhula, Macauley Carson, Adam Ruzicka and Jack Thompson scored for the Wolves who will try and avoid the sweep in Game 4 on Thursday night in Sudbury
Generals 4 IceDogs 1
Serron Noel scored twice for the Generals who cut Niagara's series lead to 2-1.
Kyle Bollers and Noel scored 7 seconds apart early in the 3rd period as Oshawa broke a 1-1 tie
Brett Neumann had the other goal in the victory.
Jason Robertson, the OHL's leading point getter, had the lone goal for Niagara.
Game 4 of the series goes Thursday night in Oshawa.
