Orillia OPP investigating a robbery at a corner store, that occurred yesterday afternoon around 1.30
in the City of Orillia in the area of Borland St. and West Street North.
A male entered the store and demanded cash from the clerk. The male suspect had a small black hand gun. Once the suspect got the money he fled from the scene on foot.
Orillia OPP attended the scene and searched the area for the suspect as a male, about 5ft. 5in to 5ft 9in in height with a slender build.
Suspect’s approximate age would be between late teens to mid twenties. He was wearing Black pants, black shirt, tan coloured hikers or work boots, black gloves with a black shirt over his head and face.
No one was injuries as a result of this holdup.
The investigation is continuing and police are asking for the assistance of the public. If anyone has information, please call the Orillia OPP detachment at 705-326-3536.
