A summer home on Weismuller Lake has been destroyed by fire, but no injuries reported.
OPP were also on scene at 1019 Mitchell Lane this evening investigating after calling the property “an active crime scene.”
Earlier, the Bracebridge Fire Department called the Gravenhurst Fire Department for mutual aid.
When they arrived, they discovered two burning cars parked outside the home and the home fully engulfed.
Firefighters report geography and flooding as factors that delayed their response.
No word yet on the cause.
