OPP investigated 43 incidents over the past weekend in Oro Medonte, including four collisions, 17 other traffic-related occurrences
Officers were called to a collision on Highway 11 near Line 11 on Saturday at 12:45 a.m.
A single vehicle had struck the centre median and came to rest in the centre of the roadway.
As a result of the investigation, a 27-year-old Oakville man was charged with careless driving and had his licence suspended for three days for having between 50 and 80 milligrams of alcohol in his system.
Officers conducted RIDE checks throughout Oro-Medonte on the weekend, with more than 200 vehicles checked and three charges laid.
Police investigated a break-in Sunday evening that occurred on Ridge Road West in Oro-Medonte. A residence was entered from a rear window and a 40-inch Phillips flat-screen TV and a 15-inch HP laptop were taken.
