A 22 year old Clearview Township man is the third person to be charged in the alleged kidnapping of Chinese International student Wanzhen Lu.
On March 23, Lu was grabbed from the parking garage of his condo building in Markham. Three days later he turned up in Gravenhurst, shaken, but with no major injuries.
The latest to be charged is Nathan Plater. He is being held in custody after a bail hearing today (Friday).
Police say a Canada-wide arrest warrant remains in effect for a 28 year old Toronto man.
And two previously charges suspects remain in custody.
Investigators say there are still more suspects at large who are considered armed and dangerous. Police are urging them to get a lawyer and turn themselves in.
