The newly expanded and refurbished Elmvale District High School will open its doors to the public Friday evening April 26.
Students have been using the building for several months now, but a ceremony at 5 P.M. will officially open the renovated school.
Trustee Peter Beacock says it's a proud day considering the school was up for closure a few years ago.
The new addition houses an expanded gym — as well as new classrooms, and a cafatorium.
