With school out and a long weekend approaching, OPP will be increasing their presence on the roads.
The province's police force says they will spend the Canada Day weekend enforcing aggressive driving.
OPP Constable Jamie Stanley says aggressive driving can involve speeding, improper lane passing, following too closely, and cutting off other drivers.
According to provincial police, speed-related deaths hit a six-year high in 2018.
Waterways are another area in which OPP are asking you to exercise caution.
Stanley says Personal Floatation Devices (PFD) are required for each person on a boat, and alcohol consumption is prohibited for the boat's operator.
Fireworks are also an area of concern, and Stanley recommends you follow the listed instructions, keep fireworks out of the hands of children, and do not use fireworks if impaired by drugs or alcohol.
