Singer-songwriter Samantha Meave Pearson, or MEAVE, and Canada’s Got Talent finalist music career took an unexpected turn when she was busking in Niagara. She didn’t realize she was performing in front the building where Canada’s got Talent was being recorded. She got the attention of world-famous judge Howie Mandell, who recognized her talent and urged her to audition for the program. MEAVE auditioned, and went on to be the only Ontario finalist, reaching fourth place for the shows third season. Since then, MEAVE has continued focusing on releasing music and playing gigs. Her sound is genre defying, ranging from the hard rock energy of ‘Done’ and the softer, bittersweet emotion of ‘Your Clothes,’ all marked by her clear, powerful voice. Her song ‘Done’ is featured on Max FM.
