Byrdy is an alternative metal band from Toronto. The different elements of the band work well together; specifically the powerful, but clean and emotive vocals, which contrasts well on top of the thunderous and dirty instrumental. When it’s time to solo, the lead guitar shoots out like a lightning bolt and manages to evoke emotions and shred simultaneously. Byrdy have landed gigs like the Voodoo Rock Queens Festival and the Tall Pines Festival, where they showcased their live energy and instrumental prowess. They released their debut album in 2022, and have featured on local radio extensively, including on Max Fm with the songs Broken Glass and Seen Better Days. They were also semi-finalists for the 2023 Battle of the Bands.
