Reay is an Indie band fronted by Sean Murray, music veteran. This Orillia-based band started with the intention of releasing Sean’s longtime project, the album Butterfly Tongue Revisited. This album was chosen Top Canadian album of 2019, by Tinnitist.com, and has received praise from many other sources. Sean Murray and Reay created this album with the intention of creating a masterpiece, putting thought into every note and decision, and deliberately making every song sound different. The album contains hypnotic rhythms, layered production and a dark, bluesy atmosphere telling a story through weathered vocals. On Max FM, Reay was a semi-finalist in the 2023 Battle of the Bands, and the song Halo is on rotation.
