Coming from Kincardine, 21and9 is a throwback to the Seattle sound in the 90s. Their emotionally driven vocals sit on top of heavy distorted riffs, creating a powerful grunge feel mixed with the rawness of Midwest Emo. They recently have played in the Davidson Center in Kincardine and at the Sauble Beach party. They also were semi-finalists in the 2024 Battle of the Bands. Their song We Could Give Up, from their album Balloons, is played on Max FM.
