The SIU has invoked its mandate after an incident in Collingwood earlier this week.
OPP officers from the Collingwood and Blue Mountains detachment were called to a residence on October 15th.
During police response, one person suffered injuries that resulted in the province’s Special Investigations Unit responding and starting their own probe into the matter.
OPP says that it’s unable to release any further information about the incident.
