The fire danger rating across Muskoka is high.
According to the Gravenhurst fire department, areas without snow have rapidly dried and the trend will continue with forecasted weather.
Several departments have already responded to out-of-control wild fires, including a large one Wednesday night on Wahta Mohawk territory along Highway 400.
A small fire can grow quickly within minutes in these conditions
Tonight firefighters from Foots Bay, Glen Orchard & Bala were called to a grass fire in Wahta Mohawk Territory on hwy 400. Crews were on scene with MNRF & Georgian Bay FD extinguishing this stubborn hard to access fire.
