An 18 year old man from Barrie has died, after being assaulted in London.
That’s where Gabriel Neil was attending Western University in the hopes of becoming a doctor one day.
Neil graduated from Barrie’s Bear Creek Secondary School in June and died of his injuries in hospital following the assault early Saturday morning.
His family has since released a statement, asking for privacy to grieve.
A 21-year-old London man has been arrested and charged with manslaughter in connection with Neil’s death.
