The CFIA is investigating and the OPP has issued a warning about planting unsolicited packages of seeds arriving from China or Taiwan.
They say unsolicited seeds could be invasive & threaten our environment.
Police say if you receive the seeds, please call the Canadian Food Inspection Agency at 519 691-1306 or 1 800 442-2342.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture also recently warned residents this week against planting unsolicited packages of seeds arriving from China.
