Two men have been found guilty in the murder of an Orillia man.
The guilty verdict for Martin Forget and Brian Quesnel was handed down on Saturday afternoon in a Barrie courtroom.
It took a jury two days of deliberations to come to its verdict of guilty of first-degree murder in the death of Joseph Simonds, who was shot and killed on June 4, 2017, at his apartment on Franklin St.
Sonny Brokenshire was also originally charged with first-degree murder, but he accepted a plea deal and became a key witness in the trial.
Both men have been sentenced to life in prison.
