The Georgian Triangle Humane Society (GTHS) needs your help.
More than 40 homeless animals, including 16 dogs and 26 cats, arrived at the Collingwood shelter yesterday, which is the most animals the facility has ever received at one time.
More than 1-thousand dollars in supplies have already been ordered, but more donations are desperately needed.
It says a local orthopedic veterinarian has been called in for one dog who requires an emergency amputation on Friday.
The animals will be checked over by a medical team and eventually be put up for donations.
