One person has been taken into custody, following an incident in Oro-Medonte.
Police were called to a home in the town early this morning involving a barricaded person, and say the emergency response unit, crisis negotiators, as well as the K-9 unit were called in.
A short time later, police announced on Twitter that a person was taken into custody without incident.
Police said there were no concerns for public safety and more information will be released as it becomes available.
