The Barrie Police Service is appealing to the public for assistance after a hit and run involving a transit bus.
Police say they were called to the intersection of Anne and Brock Streets on January 28th, when a City of Barrie transit bus had been struck by a pick-up truck that left the scene.
The pick-up truck is described as grey in colour and should have damage to the passenger side mirror.
Police say the truck bed area is open and contains a uniquely angled aluminum mid-size tool box that may read Kobalt in blue lettering.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Const. Mellish of the Barrie Police Service at 705-725-7025, ext. 2634, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
