WWII veteran Fred Arsenault is turning 100 next month, and his son wants to get him 100 birthday cards to celebrate the special occasion.
Fred Arsenault told CBC that he loves getting letters the old-fashioned way, through the postal service, especially since he learned to appreciate the significance of receiving that envelope during the war.
Arsenault will be turning 100 on March 6 and his son Ron has created an online campaign, encouraging people to send his dad 100 cards for his birthday.
