Two students have been taken into custody and could be facing criminal charges, after a gun scare at a high school in Alliston.
Police were called to Banting Memorial yesterday afternoon, when the school was placed in lockdown.
Police say witnesses saw a student being threatened by another with a handgun, which was then concealed in a backpack.
Police have arrested two male students and located a pellet gun they say resembles a .357 handgun.
