Fake texts and social media posts have been circulating about cases of coronavirus at two local hospitals.
Both Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre and Collingwood General and Marine Hospital have fallen victim to the scam.
Officials from both hospitals confirm the link is fake and should be deleted immediately.
Meanwhile, a number of social media accounts are circulating information, described as dangerous by U.S. health authorities, that ingesting a toxic bleach-like chemical will prevent coronavirus and treat other various human diseases.
