Public consulations are being held today on the Leacock Museum Master Plan study.
Project staff and TCI Management Consultants will hold two public consultations this afternoon to discuss their findings and draft recommendations.
The study was initiated last year to provide a revised context for operations based on current trends, the unique features of the site, community needs, and municipal requirements.
“This is an exciting opportunity for the museum to look ahead to the future,” said Mayor Steve Clarke. “We are looking to the Master Plan to help us chart a path forward, building on the unique nature of the site, establishing the house and grounds as an attractive year-round venue for the benefit of future generations.”
The first session will begin at Swanmore Hall on Museum Drive at 2 p.m., followed by the second at 6 p.m..
Space is limited. Please RSVP with your preferred session by emailing Jen Martynyshyn, Museum Coordinator, at jmartynyshyn@orillia.ca, or through the form available at leacockmuseum.com and the Museum’s Facebook page.
