Barrie police are looking for the public's help in identifying a robbery suspect with a unique taste in running shoes.
Police say just before 230 Wednesday morning, a man armed with a gun entered the Circle K store on Grove Street East and demanded cash.
After getting some money, the suspect fled the scene on foot and likely ran into nearby Eastview Park.
The K-9 unit was called in, but the suspect managed to get away.
His image was caught on surveillance video though.
The male suspect is described as: 6 feet tall, with a slim build. He was wearing a black hoody sweatshirt, full face covering balaclava, grey tapered track pants with 2 stripes on left thigh, grey running shoes with orange on the heel and side, and grey gloves with coated fingertips.
Anyone with information or who may have residential video surveillance or information is asked to contact Sgt. Don Moore of the Barrie Police Investigative Services at dmoore@barriepolice.ca, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), or leave an anonymous tip online at www.p3tips.com
