Out of the Cold Collingwood has been successful so far at its new shelter.
During its first month of operations at the Community Centre on Peel Street, it says 17 people used the shelter, with at least two nightly.
Out of the Coold says of these, six were women and one was a youth, while three guests were brought to the shelter by police services and the most guests in one night was 8.
It adds operations continue to be running smoothly, with no incidents to report.
This Saturday is Out of the Cold Collingwood’s inaugural major fundraiser, The Storybook Soiree, which still has tickets available!
The family-friendly event is an enchanted evening for Potter-heads and Frozen fanatics to attend a magical night of music, games, dancing and fun!
